Openings and Opportunities

• Peer-to-peer (college bound youths’ mentor at-risk teens).

• Peer-to-peer (college bound youths’ mentor GED/Diploma ready at-risk teens).

• Peer-to-peer (youth ministers’ mentor youth requesting information).

• Entrepreneur Mentors (young adults in jobs/careers mentor youth interested in showcasing their talents, skills or trade interests).

• Staff volunteers interested in helping with program, workshop or training coordination.

• Program volunteers interested in running specific trainings in anger management, career, life-skills, the arts, writing/journaling for publication, parenting, fundraising or event planning, etc.

• Volunteers interested in working with Food Harvest, coordinating and providing meals to youth and families.

• Volunteers help run Project Sista-hood/Brotha-hood

• Volunteers help run Project Latina and Project Latino

 

Angel list: We need a building large enough to deliver programs and services on-site: classes, trainings, on-site child visitation, mental health counseling, creative arts workshops, group anger management classes, re-entry counseling, etc.

Equipment and supplies needed: office furniture, kitchen supplies, audio/visual equipment, school/office supplies, books, board games, art supplies, musical instruments, clothing, computer stations, iPads/tablets.
