About Just A Word Ministries Inc. (JAW)
"Sometimes all you need is just a Word... and everything starts to change."
— Coach Tamara
At Just A Word Ministries, I believe in the power of God’s Word to heal, guide, uplift, and transform. Whether you're deep in your faith walk or just peeking through the spiritual window with curiosity, this ministry is a safe and welcoming space for you.
Hi, I'm Coach Tamara —
also known as The Christian Life Motivator™ — a faith coach, minister, speaker, and your spiritual cheerleader when life throws curveballs. I created Just A Word Ministries to help women like you move through fear, doubt, and uncertainty with bold, unstoppable faith — the kind of faith that doesn’t shrink in the face of storms but learns how to set its sails.
I’m not here to throw religion at you or pretend I have it all together (spoiler alert: I don’t). What I do have is a steady grip on the hand of God and a passion to help other women reach for it too.
“Hey there, Lollipop! Yes, that’s what I call everyone who graces this space. I’m Coach Tamara — and welcome to Just A Word Ministries. Whether you’ve been walking with the Lord for years, or you’re just trying to figure out if faith even fits your life… I’m glad you're here. This space was created to give you encouragement, tools, and a whole lot of real talk for real life. So come on in, take a look around, and remember — all it takes is just one Word to change."
EVANGELISM
Becoming a Faithful Witness
Why the Name Just A Word?
Because all it takes is one Word from God to turn everything around.
One Word can heal.
One Word can confirm.
One Word can carry you when your legs (and your faith) feel wobbly.
And sometimes, that Word comes wrapped in conversation, community, coaching... or a quote you didn’t know you needed.
Scripture Feature
"I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me — to fulfill His purpose — I am self-sufficient in Christ's sufficiency."
— Philippians 2:13, (AMP)

👑 Favorite Verse
“For it is [not your strength, but it is] God who is effectively at work in you, both to will and to work [that is, strengthening, energizing, and creating in you the longing and the ability to fulfill your purpose] for His good pleasure.”
— Philippians 2:13 (AMP)
🎶 My Go-To Gospel Song
"I Rise" by the Mississippi Mass Choir — because some mornings you just need a melody that reminds you you’ve still got breath, strength, and purpose!
🚿 Where I Get My Best Prayers In
The shower and the car — because when the water’s running or the wheels are turning, God and I are having a moment!
✍️ Favorite Quote I Live By
"If you know your name, you don’t have to ask anybody." — Coach Tamara

Our Heartbeat
Here’s what I believe:
® Faith is not one-size-fits-all.
Everyone is walking at a different pace. Whether you’re sprinting or crawling, you're welcome here. I meet women where they are — no judgment, just love, truth, and encouragement.
® God’s Word is more than a Sunday morning thing.
It's a lifeline — for breakups, breakdowns, budget crises, loneliness, career drama, and late-night doubts. Around here, we don’t just read the Word — we live it, laugh with it, and sometimes even wrestle with it. (You’re allowed. God can handle it.)
® You don’t have to fake it here.
If you’ve ever felt overlooked, underestimated, misjudged, or spiritually stuck — you’ve found your tribe. This ministry is for the woman who knows there’s more to life but isn’t sure how to access it. It's for the tired soul who’s prayed “Lord, help” more times than she can count.
How I Serve
Through coaching, teaching, keynotes, master classes, and unapologetically real conversations, I help women of faith:
-
Navigate spiritual traffic jams (like fear, worry, and self-doubt)
-
Rebuild their spiritual core after life’s setbacks
-
Discover their God-given worth and walk in it daily
-
Trust God's plan even when they don't have the full map
-
"You don’t need a cape to be powerful — just a surrendered heart and a Word from God." — Coach Tamara
I’ve had my own share of hard seasons — family burdens, health scares, heartbreak, and life re-routes I didn’t see coming. But God showed up every time. And now? I show up for others, bringing encouragement, strategy, Scripture, and just enough sass to keep things interesting.
